Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has released the revised schedule for Round 2 of UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.
The revised schedule has been issued in continuation of the government order dated September 19, 2026, which cancelled the earlier rescheduled Round 1 and provided for the revised Round 2 counselling schedule. The official UP NEET counselling portal is also displaying the revised Round 2 schedule.

Round 2 Merit List Released on September 21
According to the revised schedule, the Second Round Merit List is scheduled for publication on September 21, 2026.
Seat allotment in the second round will be conducted on the basis of the Second Round Merit List, as specifically mentioned in the DGME Uttar Pradesh notice.
The official UP NEET portal currently lists the revised Round 2 schedule among its latest counselling notifications.
Choice Filling Starts at 2 PM
Candidates can participate in online choice filling from September 21 at 2:00 PM.
The choice-filling window will remain open until 11:00 AM on September 24, 2026.
Candidates should carefully enter their preferred MBBS and BDS colleges and courses and complete the choice-filling process within the prescribed deadline. The live UP NEET portal also provides the online choice-submission facility for UG counselling.
Round 2 Seat Allotment Result on September 25
The Round 2 seat allotment result will be declared on September 25, 2026.
Candidates who are allotted seats will then be able to proceed with the allotment letter and admission process as per the schedule issued by DGME Uttar Pradesh.
Allotment Letter and Admission from September 26
The schedule provides a window from September 26 to October 1, 2026 for:
- Downloading the allotment letter
- Completing the admission process
- Following the instructions applicable to the allotted college and course
