Office of the Commissioner Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, has released the Tentative Time Schedule for the Mop-Up Round of MP State Combined NEET UG Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.
The schedule, dated September 21, 2026, outlines the registration, merit list, vacancy publication, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting dates for the Mop-Up Round. Candidates who have already registered for MP NEET UG counselling do not need to register again for the Mop-Up Round, according to the notice.

Fresh Registration for MP NEET UG Mop-Up Round
Fresh registration for eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates will begin on September 28, 2026, and continue until October 2, 2026, up to 11:59 PM. However, candidates who have already registered for MP NEET UG counselling are not required to register again.
MP NEET UG 2026 Mop-Up Round Choice Filling
Candidates participating in the Mop-Up Round will have to complete fresh choice filling and choice locking. The choice filling window will remain open from October 4 to October 7, 2026, up to 11:59 PM. The schedule specifically states that fresh choice filling is mandatory for participating candidates in the Mop-Up Round.
MP NEET UG Mop-Up Round Allotment Result 2026
The Mop-Up Round allotment result is scheduled to be displayed on October 10, 2026. Candidates should check the official MP NEET UG counselling portal for the allotment result and further instructions after its publication. The MP NEET UG counselling process is conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh, through its online counselling portal.
Reporting for MP NEET UG Mop-Up Round Admission
Candidates allotted an MBBS or BDS seat in the Mop-Up Round will have to report in person at the allotted medical or dental college for document verification and admission.
The reporting period is October 11 to October 14, 2026, up to 6:00 PM. Candidates should carry the required original documents and complete the admission formalities within the prescribed deadline.
Seat Leaving Bond Applicable After Mop-Up Round
The notice also contains an important instruction regarding the seat leaving bond. As per Rule mentioned in the notice, the seat leaving bond will be applicable to candidates who resign after commencement of the Mop-Up Round.
Candidates should therefore carefully review the applicable counselling rules before participating in the Mop-Up Round or resigning from an allotted seat.
