Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi has extended the closing date for opening of correction/edit window, fresh registration, mandatory uploading of educational testimonials, reserved category documents and NEET UG 2026 score card, followed by choice filling/preferences for Round 1 MBBS admissions for the academic session 2026–27.
As per the notification issued by the University on August 21, 2026, the revised schedule has been announced in continuation of the earlier notification dated August 17, 2026. The extension has been provided in accordance with the revised AIQ and State Schedule for Round 1 of UG Counselling 2026 issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Fresh Registration Extended Till August 24
Candidates who have not yet registered for online counselling on the GGSIPU portal and have not paid the prescribed Rs.2,500 registration fee can now complete the registration process until August 24, 2026, at 11:30 PM.
Such candidates must also upload the required educational testimonials, reserved category documents, wherever applicable, and NEET UG 2026 Score Card within the extended deadline.
Choice Filling Mandatory for Seat Allotment
Candidates who have already registered with GGSIPU, paid the Rs.2,500 counselling fee and uploaded their NEET UG 2026 Score Card are required to complete the choice/preference filling process.
The choice-filling window will remain open from 4:00 PM on August 19 to 11:59 PM on August 24, 2026. The University has specifically stated that choice filling is compulsory for allotment of a seat.
Candidates should carefully select and arrange their preferred choices before the deadline.
Round 1 Result Expected on August 25
The tentative date for declaration of the Round 1 result is August 25, 2026. The detailed procedure to be followed after the declaration of the Round 1 result will be notified separately by the University in due course.
The schedule has been revised in accordance with the latest MCC notification concerning the Revised AIQ and State Schedule for Round 1 of UG Counselling 2026, dated August 19, 2026.
