Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak has released the Round 2 tentative counselling schedule for MBBS and BDS admissions for the academic session 2026-27 in Haryana.
The notice dated September 9, 2026, is applicable to eligible candidates seeking admission to Government, Government-Aided and Private Medical and Dental Educational Institutes in Haryana, including specified private/minority universities.

Fresh Registration and Choice Filling from September 10
Candidates eligible to participate in Round 2 can complete fresh registration, editing, security amount payment and submission/locking of choices from September 10 to September 12, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
Fresh registration is specifically required for candidates who did not register during Round 1.
Candidates who had already registered for Round 1 and wish to participate in Round 2 generally do not need to register again, subject to the conditions specified in the notice. They must, however, complete the required willingness and choice-filling process.
Who Can Participate in Haryana NEET UG Round 2?
The notice provides for participation by the following candidates:
- Registered candidates who were not allotted a seat in Round 1.
- Candidates who were allotted a Round 1 seat but did not join.
- Candidates who were allotted and joined a Round 1 seat but wish to upgrade their seat, subject to the prescribed conditions.
Candidates who joined their Round 1 allotted seat and wish to participate in Round 2 must submit the required willingness to upgrade/participate through the counselling portal.
Round 1 Choices Will Not Carry Forward
An important instruction for candidates participating in Round 2 is that the choices filled during Round 1 will be treated as null and void.
Therefore, candidates who wish to participate in Round 2 must submit fresh choices/preferences.
Candidates who have joined a Round 1 seat and want to upgrade are also required to submit their preferences afresh, selecting the colleges/courses in which they wish to upgrade.
Security Amount for Round 2 Participation
Candidates participating in Round 2 are required to deposit the applicable security amount online through the counselling portal.
According to the notice, the security amount is:

The applicable security amount is to be deposited online during the Round 2 registration/choice-filling window.
Important Consequences of Security Deposit
The notice specifies that candidates who fail to deposit the required security amount within the prescribed time will not be considered eligible for Round 2 counselling.
Candidates should therefore complete the payment before the September 12, 2026, 11:59 PM deadline.
Provisional Seat Allocation and Grievances
After the choice-filling process, the university will process the provisional seat allocation.
Candidates will be provided an opportunity to raise grievances against the provisional allocation, with the grievance date scheduled for September 14, 2026. The final allocation list will be uploaded on September 16, 2026.
Candidates should carefully check the final allocation status before proceeding with fee payment and admission formalities.
Tuition Fee Payment from September 14 to 16
Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 will be required to deposit the provisional tuition fee online through the admission web portal. The fee-payment window is scheduled from September 14 to September 16, 2026, up to 5:00 PM.
Candidates should complete the payment within the prescribed deadline to retain eligibility for admission against the allotted seat.
Physical Document Verification from September 17
Candidates who have been allotted seats and completed the required fee payment will have to undergo physical document verification. The verification is scheduled from September 17 to September 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Candidates should report with the required original documents and supporting certificates as prescribed for Haryana NEET UG admissions.
Provisional Admission Letter and Joining Deadline
After successful document verification, candidates will be able to download the provisional admission letter between September 17 and September 20, 2026. The last date for joining/reporting at the allotted institute is September 20, 2026, up to 4:00 PM. Candidates should ensure that all admission formalities are completed before the deadline.
Rules for Candidates Already Admitted in Round 1
Candidates who were allotted and joined seats during Round 1 need to carefully follow the Round 2 participation rules. Those candidates who wish to participate in Round 2 for an upgrade must submit their willingness and fresh choices through the online counselling portal.
If a candidate has joined the Round 1 seat but does not participate in Round 2, the candidate will not be considered for Round 2 counselling. The notice also states that candidates who have joined a Round 1 seat and participate in Round 2 should carefully understand the consequences of upgrading or retaining their existing seat.
What Happens If a Candidate Does Not Join the Round 2 Allotted Seat?
The notice contains specific provisions concerning candidates who receive a Round 2 allotment but do not join. Candidates should carefully read the applicable conditions because non-joining can result in forfeiture of the security amount, depending on the circumstances and stage of counselling.
