Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana has released the seat matrix for the second phase of counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions under Management Quota for the academic year 2026-27.
The seat matrix applies to admissions under the B & C/NRI categories in the Management Quota. The second phase counselling covers eligible candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses in affiliated private medical and dental colleges, Army College of Dental Sciences, and Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences affiliated to Anurag University.
The seat matrix has been issued alongside the second-phase web-options process. KNRUHS’s official notifications page lists the ongoing 2026-27 Management Quota counselling activities and earlier first-phase seat matrix and web-options notifications.
KNRUHS Management Quota 2026: Second Phase Seat Matrix
The university has published the college-wise seat matrix for the second phase of Management Quota counselling. Candidates can use the matrix to check the seats available for MBBS and BDS courses under the applicable Management Quota categories before exercising their web options.

- BDS – Bachelor of Dental Surgery

Candidates can exercise web options only for the category or categories for which they are eligible and registered.

KNRUHS has stated that eligible candidates can exercise web options through the designated portal from a computer with an internet connection.
Who Can Use the Second Phase Seat Matrix?
Candidates whose names appear in the final merit list for Management Quota MBBS/BDS admissions, along with candidates covered by subsequent addenda and corrigenda, can participate subject to their eligibility.
Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first phase, joined the course and are continuing, are eligible to exercise web options for the second phase.
However, candidates who were allotted seats in the first phase but did not report or discontinued the course are not eligible to exercise second-phase web options. Similarly, candidates who did not exercise web options in the first phase are not eligible for the second phase.
Candidates Can Choose Multiple Colleges
KNRUHS has specified that there is no limit on the number of web options that candidates can exercise.
Candidates can select any number of eligible MBBS/BDS courses and colleges in their preferred order.
Candidates are also advised to exercise options for all colleges in which they are interested, even if a vacancy is not currently shown in the seat matrix. Vacancies can arise during the counselling process due to sliding of candidates from one seat to another.
Important Rule on Second Phase Sliding
Candidates should exercise their preferences carefully.
If a candidate receives a seat in the second phase based on the web options submitted, the seat allotted to the candidate in the first phase will be automatically cancelled and allotted to another candidate.
Therefore, candidates should enter only those choices they are willing to accept in the second phase.
KNRUHS Management Quota University Fee
The university has prescribed the following university fee for selected candidates:

The university fee is payable through the online payment gateway using Debit Card, Credit Card or Internet Banking.
After successful payment, candidates can download their allotment order from the counselling portal.
Tuition Fee
The tuition fee is separate from the university fee and is payable at the respective medical or dental college.
For Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences, the notification specifies:

The applicable tuition fee for other colleges is as notified by the Government of Telangana and the respective institution.
Management Quota B Category: Local and Open Seats
The KNRUHS notification states that, under the applicable Telangana Government orders, 85% of Management Quota B Category seats are reserved for local candidates of Telangana, while 15% are open to candidates from across the country.
The notification further states that the 15% unreserved seats are allotted first, followed by seats reserved for local candidates.
Minority Medical Colleges
Management Quota seats in private minority medical colleges are subject to the applicable minority admission rules.
According to the counselling notification, these seats are reserved for Muslim Minority candidates. If eligible Muslim Minority candidates are not available, the seats may be filled with non-minority candidates up to a maximum of 30% during the final phase of counselling.
Army College of Dental Sciences
The Management Quota seats at Army College of Dental Sciences are reserved for wards of Army personnel according to the applicable AWES regulations.
Candidates seeking admission to the college should therefore satisfy the relevant eligibility requirements.
What Candidates Should Do After Checking the Seat Matrix
Candidates should use the second-phase seat matrix before submitting their web options.
The process can be followed as:
- Check the second-phase seat matrix.
- Identify the MBBS/BDS colleges and categories for which the candidate is eligible.
- Arrange the preferred colleges in order.
- Log in to the official web-options portal.
- Submit the web options between September 22 and September 24, 2026.
- Save or print the submitted preferences.
- Check the second-phase allotment result.
- If allotted a seat, pay the applicable university fee.
- Download the allotment order.
- Report to the allotted college within the deadline mentioned in the allotment order.
Important Instructions
Candidates should keep the following points in mind:
- The seat matrix is for the second phase of Management Quota counselling.
- Web options must be exercised only for eligible categories.
- There is no specified limit on the number of choices.
- Candidates should arrange choices according to their actual preference.
