Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling/Admissions Board 2026 has released a notice revising the category of allotment for 46 candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1 of NEET UG Counselling 2026. The notice was issued on September 3, 2026, by the Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling/Admissions Board at SMS Medical College, Jaipur.
The revision has been made in compliance with the directions and principles laid down in judgments/orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated September 9, 2025, and January 6, 2026.
Category of Allotment Revised for 46 Candidates
According to the official notice, the revised list contains 46 candidates whose allotted category has been changed. The notice provides each candidate’s registration ID, name, gender, state merit rank, course, allotted college, originally allotted category and revised allotted category.
The candidates listed in the notice have been allotted MBBS seats in various private medical colleges across Rajasthan, including institutions in Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota, Sri Ganganagar, Sikar and Jodhpur.
Some of the institutions appearing in the revised list include:
- Pacific Medical College & Hospital, Bhilo Ka Bedla, Udaipur
- Sudha Medical College, Kota
- JNU Institute for Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Jaipur
- Arya Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur
- Dr S S Tantia Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Sri Ganganagar
- Prince Medical College & Hospital, Sikar
- Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences, Umarda, Udaipur
- National Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (NIMS), Jaipur
- Vyas Medical College & Hospital, Jodhpur
No Change in Allotted College
An important clarification in the notice is that the revision is limited solely to the category of allotment.
There is no change in the college/institution allotted to any of the 46 candidates.
Therefore, candidates included in the revised list should carefully check their updated allotment category while noting that their previously allotted institution remains unchanged.
Revised Category Status Remains Provisional
The Rajasthan NEET UG Counselling Board has clarified that the revised category status is provisional and remains subject to verification, scrutiny, reconciliation and correction wherever required.
The revised allotment continues to be subject to:
- Fulfilment of applicable eligibility conditions
- Verification of original documents
- Category and reservation requirements
- Fee payment
- Reporting and joining requirements
- Other applicable admission formalities
The Board has further stated that if any discrepancy, deficiency, incorrect information or document is subsequently found to affect a candidate’s eligibility or category, the allotment/status may be modified, revised, withdrawn or cancelled, as applicable.
Candidates Advised to Check Revised Details
Candidates included in the 46-candidate list should carefully verify their revised allotted category.
The Board has also clarified that no right or claim will accrue solely on the basis of this revised/provisional list, and candidates will remain governed by the applicable counselling rules and instructions issued by the competent authority.
