Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued, informing NEET UG 2026 candidates applying under the PwD (Persons with Disabilities) category that the PwD portal for Round 2 of UG Counselling 2026 is now active. The notice has been issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India.
According to the notice, candidates who are required to undergo medical assessment through the Primary Medical Assessment Board (PMAB) must report to the designated assessment centre according to the revised Round 2 schedule.

Candidates under the PwD category are advised to complete their assessment within the prescribed timeline and ensure that the assessment details are generated online on the MCC portal.
The notice also clarifies that the Appellate Assessment Board will conduct medical assessment for candidates who report up to 12:00 Noon on September 8, 2026.
