Previous Round 1 Allotments Declared Invalid
One of the most important instructions in the revised notification is that admission of all candidates who had previously received an allotment on September 7, 2026, shall be deemed invalid.
Therefore, candidates who received an allotment in the earlier Round 1 process should participate in the rescheduled first round according to the new schedule.
Choice Filling and Locking Is Mandatory
The rescheduled Round 1 allotment will be based solely on the merit list issued for the first round.
Candidates must complete the choice filling and locking process within the prescribed timeframe. The notification states that allotment in the rescheduled first round will be granted only to candidates who complete the required choice-filling and locking process within the scheduled period.
Candidates should therefore carefully review their available MBBS/BDS college choices before submitting and locking them.
Admission After Fresh Seat Allotment
After the declaration of the rescheduled Round 1 allotment result on September 22, candidates who receive seats will be able to proceed with the next stage.
The allotment letters can be downloaded and the admission process completed from September 23 to September 26, 2026.
Candidates should follow the instructions mentioned in their allotment letter and complete the required admission formalities within the deadline.
