As per the notification, eligible candidates can exercise their web options from 2:00 PM on September 22, 2026, to 2:00 PM on September 24, 2026 through the designated counselling portal. The second-phase counselling covers admissions into affiliated private medical and dental colleges, Army College of Dental Sciences, and Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences affiliated to Anurag University.
KNRUHS has clarified that only candidates included in the final merit list for Management Quota published on September 9, 2026, along with candidates covered under subsequent addenda and corrigenda, are eligible to participate, subject to the conditions mentioned in the notification. Who Can Exercise Web Options?
Candidates whose names are included in the final merit list for MBBS/BDS admissions under Management Quota published on the KNRUHS website on September 9, 2026, and those included through subsequent addenda and corrigenda, can exercise web options, subject to their eligibility for the B & C/NRI categories.
The university has specified different eligibility conditions based on participation and admission status in the first phase of counselling.
Candidates Eligible for Second Phase Web Options
Candidates who were allotted an MBBS/BDS seat in the first phase, joined the course and are continuing the course are eligible to exercise web options for the second phase.
Candidates can exercise web options for MBBS seats in their preferred order of college and category under the B & C/NRI categories.
Candidates Not Eligible for Web Options
The notification specifically states that:
- Candidates allotted seats in the first phase who did not report or discontinued the course at the respective medical/dental college are not eligible to exercise web options.
- Candidates who did not exercise web options during the first phase are not eligible to exercise web options in the second phase.
- Candidates in the final merit list who do not exercise web options in the first phase are not eligible to exercise web options in subsequent phases, as stated in the notification.
- Candidates who exercise web options, receive an MBBS/BDS allotment and subsequently do not join the allotted college will not be eligible to exercise web options in subsequent rounds.
No Limit on Number of Web Options
KNRUHS has stated that there is no limit on the number of choices that a candidate can exercise.
Candidates can select web options for any number of courses or colleges in which they are interested and arrange them according to their preferred order, subject to their eligibility under the applicable B & C/NRI category.
Candidates are advised to include colleges in which they are interested even if vacant seats are not currently shown in the seat matrix, as vacancies can arise during counselling when candidates slide from one allotted seat to another.
Important Rule Regarding Sliding and Seat Allotment
Candidates should exercise their preferences carefully. If a candidate is allotted a seat in the second phase based on the web options submitted, the seat allotted in the first phase will be automatically cancelled and allotted to another candidate.
Therefore, candidates should submit their preferences only after considering the possibility of sliding to a higher-preference college or seat.
Management Quota B & C/NRI Fee
The notification specifies the following University Fee for selected candidates:

The university fee has to be paid through the online payment gateway using Debit Card, Credit Card or Internet Banking. After payment, selected candidates can download their allotment order from the counselling website.
Tuition Fee
The tuition fee is payable separately at the respective medical or dental college. According to the notification:
- The tuition fee applicable to Management Quota admissions is as notified by the Government of Telangana.
- For Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences, the tuition fee is Rs. 16,50,000 per annum for B Category.
- The tuition fee for C/NRI Category at Neelima Institute of Medical Sciences is Rs. 24,75,000 per annum.
Special Rules for Private Minority Medical Colleges
The notification states that Management Quota seats under B & C/NRI categories in Private Minority Medical Colleges are reserved for candidates belonging to the concerned Muslim minority community.
If eligible Muslim Minority candidates are not available, the seats may be filled with non-minority students up to a maximum of 30% during the final phase of counselling, as stated in the notification.
Army College of Dental Sciences
The notification also specifies that Management Quota seats at Army College of Dental Sciences are reserved for the wards of Army personnel, as per applicable AWES regulations.
Candidates seeking these seats should therefore ensure that they meet the relevant eligibility requirements.
B Category and C/NRI Category Web Options
Candidates can exercise web options for the B Category and, where eligible, the C/NRI Category according to their preferred order of colleges.
The allotment will be made based on the order of preferences entered by the candidate and the applicable merit and eligibility conditions. Candidates should carefully verify their choices before submitting the web options.
85% Local and 15% Open Seats in Management Quota B Category
The notification refers to the applicable Telangana Government orders and states that, in Management Quota B Category, 85% of seats are reserved for local candidates of Telangana and 15% of seats are open to candidates from all over the country.
The notification further states that the 15% unreserved seats will be allotted first, followed by the seats reserved for local candidates under the Management Quota B Category.
What Candidates Need to Do
Eligible candidates should complete the following steps within the notified deadline:
- Visit the official web-options portal.
- Log in using the candidate credentials.
- Review the available MBBS/BDS colleges and categories.
- Enter colleges and courses in the desired order of preference.
- Submit the web options before 2:00 PM on September 24, 2026.
- Take a printout or save a copy of the submitted web options.
- Wait for the allotment result.
- If allotted a seat, pay the applicable university fee online.
- Download the allotment order.
- Report to the allotted medical/dental college within the date specified in the allotment order.
- Submit the required original certificates, relevant bonds and applicable tuition fee to complete admission.
Candidates will also receive an SMS on their registered mobile number after seat allotment, if a seat is allotted. They can check their allotment status by logging into the counselling website.
Important Instructions for Candidates
KNRUHS has issued several instructions for candidates participating in the second phase:
- Candidates should read the Management Quota B & C/NRI prospectus and applicable admission regulations before exercising web options.
- Candidates should exercise preferences carefully and in the order in which they are willing to join.
- There is no restriction on the number of choices that can be entered.
- Candidates should consider colleges even when vacancies are not displayed, as vacancies may arise due to sliding.
- If a candidate receives an allotment based on second-phase preferences, the earlier allotted seat will be cancelled automatically.
- Candidates who receive an allotment and do not join the allotted college will not be eligible for subsequent web-option phases.
- Selected candidates must download the allotment order after payment of the university fee.
- Candidates must report to the Principal of the respective medical/dental college within the joining deadline mentioned in the allotment order.
- Original certificates will be verified at the allotted college.
- The university fee, once paid, will not be refunded under any circumstances, according to the notification.
- Candidates should preserve a printout of their submitted web options.
NRI Candidates: Documents and Verification
Candidates allotted seats under the NRI quota must produce the required sponsorship documents at the respective college.
The notification states that such candidates should produce the original sponsorship letter from the NRI relative, along with a copy of the sponsor’s passport/residence proof/bank statement or passbook, as applicable.
Admission Cancellation and Discontinuation Penalty
The notification states that admitted candidates who discontinue the course after free exit to obtain their original certificates will have to pay a discontinuation penalty of Rs. 20 lakhs, as per the applicable Government orders.
Candidates should therefore carefully understand the applicable admission and discontinuation rules before joining a seat.
Document Verification and Admission
Final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted medical or dental college.
If any discrepancy is found during verification, the provisional allotment can be cancelled and action may be taken under the applicable university regulations.
The notification also warns that discrepancies discovered at any stage, including after admission, can lead to cancellation of admission and further action under the applicable rules.
