Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the detailed schedule for Round 2 of UGMAC-2026 counselling for admission to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.F.Sc. and other participating courses in government and private colleges of Bihar.
The notice, Adv. No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/05 dated September 11, 2026, provides important instructions for candidates regarding resignation/withdrawal from Round 1 seats, fresh registration, application editing, choice filling, Round 2 consent, rank card publication and seat allotment.

Round 1 Candidates Can Resign or Withdraw Their Allotted Seats
Candidates who were allotted seats in Round 1 of UGMAC-2026 and wish to participate in Round 2 with changed preferences have been provided an opportunity to resign or withdraw from their allotted seat during the prescribed period.
The resignation/withdrawal window will remain open from September 12 to September 13, 2026.
Candidates should carefully check their status and follow the applicable procedure before participating in Round 2.
Round 2 Registration and Choice Filling Begins September 12
Fresh online registration and application-cum-choice filling for Round 2 will begin on September 12, 2026.
Candidates who are eligible and interested in participating in the second round must complete the required application process and submit their choices within the prescribed timeline.
The deadline for online registration, application submission and payment is September 15, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
Candidates Already Registered Need to Check Their Status
Candidates who had already submitted their UGMAC-2026 application form and paid the required counselling fee and security deposit may not need to make a fresh payment in every case. However, candidates must follow the specific instructions regarding consent/willingness and choice filling applicable to their Round 1 status.
The Board has also clarified that candidates who are eligible to participate in Round 2 may edit their previously filled choices as per the applicable rules.
Important Instructions for Freeze/Float Candidates
Candidates who were allotted a Round 1 seat and selected Freeze/Float should carefully follow the Board’s instructions while editing their choices.
The notice specifically warns candidates not to remove or delete their previous Round 1 choices in a manner that could affect their eligibility for the Round 2 allotment process.
Candidates should therefore carefully review their application and choices before making any changes.
Round 2 Rank Card on September 17
The UGMAC-2026 Round 2 Rank Card will be published on September 17, 2026.
Candidates should download and verify their rank card before proceeding with the final choice-filling and locking process.
Choice Filling Ends September 18
The last date for choice filling, editing and locking of choices is September 18, 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
Candidates should ensure that their preferred colleges and courses are arranged in the desired order and that the choices are properly locked before the deadline.
Round 2 Seat Allotment Result on September 22
The Provisional Seat Allotment Result for Round 2 is scheduled to be published on September 22, 2026.
Candidates allotted seats will be able to download their provisional seat allotment order from September 22 to September 25, 2026.
The subsequent document verification and admission process will be conducted from September 24 to September 25, 2026.
