The university has published the list to provide information on candidates who were initially allotted seats in the Open Category and subsequently slid to a better college in their respective reserved category based on their choices/options. The document contains candidate-wise details including NEET rank, NEET score, category, local area, initially allotted open-category seat and the final seat allotted under the MRC movement.

How the MRC Seat Movement Works

According to Dr NTRUHS, the list covers candidates who were allotted a seat under the Open Category and later slided to a better option in their respective reservation category based on the choices exercised during counselling.

The movement is linked to the provisions of G.O.Rt.No.550, Higher Education (EC.2) Department, dated 30 July 2001, and its amendments. When an MRC candidate moves from an Open Category seat to a reserved-category seat, the vacated Open Category seat is allotted to the respective category as per the applicable rules.

The university has also clarified that if any allotted candidate does not report, the vacant seat will be dealt with according to the applicable rules. The MRC list has been published for information only.

Details Available in the Published List

The document provides several important details for each candidate, including:

  • NEET Roll Number
  • NEET Rank
  • NEET Score
  • Candidate Name
  • Gender
  • Category
  • Local Area
  • Initial Open Category Allotment
  • Final Allotted Seat
  • MRC movement details
  • Vacated Open Category seat
  • Reservation-category seat allotted after movement

For example, the list records candidates who were initially allotted seats at institutions such as GMCG, RMCK, KMCK, SVMC, SMCV, GMCA, NARN, PESK, VMCK, SRMC and other MBBS colleges, before being moved to better reservation-category options based on their choices.

The list extends to candidates with lower NEET scores as well, with the final entries showing candidates with scores ranging down to 201, demonstrating the broad range of MRC movements covered in Phase-I.

Candidates Should Check the Official List

Candidates who participated in Phase-I MBBS counselling under the Competent Authority Quota are advised to carefully check the official MRC list and understand how the seat movement has been reflected. The university’s document is intended to provide transparency regarding the movement of meritorious reserved-category candidates between Open Category and reserved-category seats.
