A key update in the Round 2 notice is that all HP Quota candidates will be permitted to fill choices for Management Quota seats in private colleges. Candidates can submit their choices/preferences during the designated window from September 8 to September 9, 2026.
Candidates should carefully consider their preferred colleges and quota options while completing the choice-filling process.
Candidates Must Verify Category Documents
AMRU has advised candidates claiming the benefit of any reserved category or quota to ensure that their certificates and supporting documents are valid, updated and in the prescribed format specified in the prospectus.
The university has clarified that if a certificate is outdated, invalid, or not submitted in the required format, the candidate may not be entitled to the benefit of the concerned category or quota. Any provisional allotment will remain subject to verification and approval by the Admission Committee of the concerned institute.
Admission After Final Seat Allotment Only
Candidates have also been instructed not to approach the allotted college/institute immediately after choice filling or provisional processing. According to AMRU, candidates should approach the college only after the declaration of the Final Seat Allotment and after downloading the Provisional Allotment Letter from their candidate login.
The university has specifically stated that admission will not be considered without seat allocation through AMRU.
