Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has extended the deadline for making minor corrections in the State Merit List based on NEET UG 2026 results.
As per notice, dated September 17, 2026, candidates who are already included in the Jharkhand State Merit List can now make minor corrections in their application until September 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM.

Who Can Make Corrections?
The extension applies to candidates who have already been included in the Jharkhand State Merit List prepared on the basis of NEET UG 2026 results.
Candidates should use the correction facility to make only the permitted minor corrections in their application. The latest notice modifies the deadline to September 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM, while all other terms and conditions of the earlier notice remain unchanged.
JCECEB NEET UG 2026 Counselling
JCECEB is conducting the state counselling process for admission to MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses based on the NEET UG 2026 result. The Board has already published the State Merit List for the second round of online counselling and the provisional seat matrices for MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses.
The JCECEB website also lists a revised schedule for the 2nd and 3rd rounds of online counselling through Advertisement No. 84 dated September 17, 2026.
What Should Candidates Do?
Candidates included in the Jharkhand NEET UG 2026 State Merit List should:
- Check their application and merit-list details carefully.
- Make any eligible minor correction before the deadline.
- Complete the correction process by September 19, 2026, 6:00 PM.
- Keep a record of the submitted correction/application details.
- Follow subsequent JCECEB counselling notices for choice filling, seat allotment and admission.
Candidates should note that the latest notification only extends the correction deadline. Other terms and conditions of the previous notice remain unchanged.
