Maharashtra NEET Final Merit List for MBBS/BDS Group A Released

Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the Final Merit List of registered candidates for MBBS/BDS Courses (Group A) under NEET-UG 2026. The merit list is dated August 26, 2026 and has been published for candidates participating in the Maharashtra state counselling process.

The final merit list contains 35,235 registered candidates and provides candidate-wise details including the CET Cell Form Number, NEET All India Rank, NEET Roll Number, gender, candidature type and applicable reservation/specification remarks.

How to Check Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 Final Merit List

Candidates can check their details by following these steps:

  1. Visit the official Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 counselling portal.
  2. Open the MBBS/BDS Group A counselling section.
  3. Click on the Final Merit List of Registered Candidates.
  4. Open the PDF.
  5. Search for your name, CET Cell Form Number or NEET Roll Number.
  6. Verify your State merit number, AIR, candidature type and category details.

Candidates can check the following information in the published list:

  • CET Cell Online Form Number
  • Candidate Name
  • NEET All India Rank
  • NEET Roll Number
  • Gender
  • State/OMS candidature type
  • Category and specified reservation
  • NRI/PwD-related remarks, wherever applicable
  • Maharashtra State merit serial number

The list has been arranged according to the State Common Entrance Test Cell merit serial number. The first candidate in the list has a State merit serial number of 1, while the final page contains candidates up to serial number 35,235.

Category and Reservation Details

The merit list includes candidates under various categories and specified reservations, including OBC, SC, ST, EWS, SEBC, NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), DT-VJ(A), PwD and Hilly Area, among others, wherever applicable.

The document also carries important eligibility conditions. Candidates claiming constitutional or specified reservations will receive the applicable benefit only after submission and successful verification of the required documents. Similarly, NRI candidature remains subject to approval from the appropriate authority, while PwD eligibility is subject to verification by the Medical Board.

Merit List Based on Registration and Document Verification

The CET Cell has clarified that the merit list has been prepared based on the information provided by candidates in their registration forms and e-verification of uploaded documents.

However, admission will be granted only after verification of original certificates at the admitting college. Candidates should therefore ensure that all documents submitted during registration are valid and available in original for the subsequent admission process.

Final Merit List and Round 1 Counselling

The release of the final merit list is an important step in the Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 CAP Round 1 process. Candidates included in the list can proceed with the subsequent counselling activities, including choice/preference filling, according to the schedule notified by the Maharashtra CET Cell.

Candidates should use their merit position while preparing and submitting their college and course preferences. The final seat allotment will depend on factors including merit, preferences submitted, availability of seats, applicable reservation rules and other counselling conditions.
