Maharashtra NEET UG 2026: CAP Round 1 Provisional Selection List Released

Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai has released the Provisional Selection List for CAP Round 1 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under NEET UG 2026–27. The list has been published for admissions to Health Science courses for the academic year 2026–27.

The provisional selection list provides candidate-wise details of the current seat selection, including NEET All India Rank (AIR), NEET roll number, CET form number, candidate name, gender, category, quota, college code and allotted college.

Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 CAP Round 1 Selection List

Candidates who participated in Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 counselling can check the provisional list to find their Round 1 seat allotment.

The list includes allotments to participating Government and private medical and dental colleges affiliated with Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik, and covers seats approved/permitted by the relevant regulatory authorities.

Government and Private Medical Colleges Included

The Round 1 selection list contains allotments across several medical colleges in Maharashtra, including government institutions and private medical colleges.

The initial entries include allotments to institutions such as Grant Government Medical College, Mumbai; Government Medical College, Mumbai; B.J. Medical College, Pune; Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College, Mumbai; Nair Medical College, Mumbai, and several other participating institutions.

The list also contains allotments to medical and dental colleges across different regions of Maharashtra, based on candidates’ merit, category, quota and submitted preferences.

Category and Quota Details

The provisional selection list incorporates various categories and allotment provisions. The document uses abbreviations for categories and special provisions such as OPEN, OBC, SC, ST, SEBC, EWS, VJA, NTB, NTC, NTD, HA, Defence categories, Women quota, Institute Quota and Minority candidates, wherever applicable.

Important Deadline: Joining by September 4

Candidates selected in CAP Round 1 must complete the admission process within the prescribed timeline.

According to the notification printed with the selection list:

  • Last date for joining the allotted college: 04 September 2026, up to 5:30 PM
  • Last date to fill Status Retention Form at the college: 04 September 2026, up to 5:30 PM

Candidates must submit the required original documents and pay the prescribed fees at the selected college within the stipulated period.

Admission Subject to Document Verification

The selection list is explicitly provisional. Admission will be confirmed only after the allotted institute verifies the candidate’s original documents and establishes eligibility according to the NEET UG 2026 brochure.

Candidates are therefore required to produce all original documents supporting their claims. If a candidate fails to submit the required documents or pay the requisite fees within the stipulated timeline, the provisional selection may stand cancelled.

Status Retention Form

Candidates who wish to retain their Round 1 allotted seat should also complete the Status Retention Form at the college by September 4, 2026, up to 5:30 PM, as specified in the selection list.

Candidates should carefully understand the applicable counselling rules before completing the status retention process.
