Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi has released an extended schedule of activities after the declaration of Round 1 result for MBBS admissions for the 2026–27 academic session.
The revised notification extends the deadlines for fee payment, willingness submission (Float/Freeze), document verification, withdrawal and reporting, allowing candidates additional time to complete the Round 1 admission process.

Fee Payment Deadline Extended
Candidates allotted MBBS seats in Round 1 must pay the Part Academic Fee of Rs.96,000 through online banking, credit card or debit card by 11:59 PM on 30 August 2026.
Payment of this fee is mandatory for candidates who wish to remain eligible for subsequent rounds of online counselling.
Float/Freeze Option Until 31 August
IPU has also extended the deadline for submitting willingness (Float/Freeze).
Candidates must choose one of the following options by 10:00 AM on 31 August 2026:
- FLOAT: Retain the current seat while remaining eligible for upgradation.
- FREEZE: Accept the allotted seat and opt out of further upgradation.
Failure to submit willingness within the prescribed timeline may affect participation in subsequent counselling rounds.
Online Document Verification
Candidates who have paid the Part Academic Fee will undergo online verification of documents by the University.
The verification process will continue until 11:59 PM on 31 August 2026, after which eligible candidates will be able to download their provisional seat allotment letter.
Reporting Schedule
Candidates whose documents are successfully verified must report to their allotted institute between:
- 1 September 2026 and 3 September 2026
- Reporting deadline: 4:00 PM on 3 September 2026
Reporting is mandatory for seat confirmation and continued eligibility in the counselling process.
Withdrawal Facility Available
The university has also provided a withdrawal window for Round 1 allotted candidates.
Candidates wishing to surrender their allotted seat may withdraw their admission up to 11:59 PM on 5 September 2026.
Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates should ensure that they:
- Pay the Rs.96,000 Part Academic Fee before 30 August 2026.
- Submit Float/Freeze by 31 August (10:00 AM).
- Complete online document verification within the prescribed deadline.
- Download the provisional allotment letter after verification.
- Report to the allotted institute by 3 September 2026 (4:00 PM).
- Regularly visit the IPU admission portal for further counselling updates.
