Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the Round 2 schedule for NEET UG Counselling 2026, covering admissions under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), Deemed Universities, Central Universities, AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER, along with the corresponding State Counselling timeline.
The revised schedule includes important dates for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing courses. The Round 2 AIQ registration and payment process will begin on September 3, 2026, while State Counselling Round 2 will commence from September 7, 2026. MCC NEET UG 2026 Round 2 AIQ Schedule
According to the revised schedule, the Round 2 process for AIQ and participating Deemed/Central Universities will proceed as follows:

Registration and Payment
Candidates participating in Round 2 will be able to register and make the required payment from September 3 to September 8, 2026. Registration will close at 3:00 PM on September 8, while the payment facility will remain available until 6:00 PM on the same day, as per server time.
Candidates should complete both registration and payment within the prescribed deadline to remain eligible for the subsequent choice-filling process.
Choice Filling and Locking
The choice filling window will remain open from September 3 to September 9, 2026, with choice filling available up to 10:00 AM on September 9.
Choice locking will begin at 4:00 PM on September 8 and continue until 10:00 AM on September 9, 2026.
Candidates should carefully review their choices before locking them, as the allotment will be processed based on the choices entered and applicable counselling rules.
Round 2 Seat Allotment Result on September 11
The processing of Round 2 seat allotment is scheduled for September 9 and 10, 2026. The Round 2 allotment result will be published on September 11, 2026.
Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 will then have to complete reporting and joining formalities at their allotted institutions between September 12 and September 18, 2026.
The participating institutions are required to verify the data of joined candidates and share it with MCC on September 19, 2026.
State Counselling Round 2 Schedule
The revised schedule also provides the corresponding timeline for State Counselling Round 2.
