Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has announced the revised schedule for the 2nd Round of counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under the State Quota seats for the academic year 2026-27. The schedule has been revised following modifications in the MCC counselling schedule for All India Quota (AIQ) seats and a subsequent revision of the Odisha State Quota counselling timeline.
According to OJEE Notice, the 2nd round counselling process will include registration for preparation of the State Merit List, publication of the revised merit list, choice filling and locking, provisional allotment, publication of the final allotment and admission at the OJEE Cell, Gandamunda.

Registration to Begin on September 7
Candidates eligible to participate in the Odisha State Quota counselling process will be required to complete registration for State Merit List preparation from 11:30 AM on September 7 until 11:59 PM on September 8, 2026.
Following registration, OJEE will publish the revised State Merit List on September 9 at 2:00 PM.
Candidates should carefully check their names, ranks and other relevant details in the revised merit list before proceeding with the choice-filling process.
Choice Filling and Locking
The choice-filling and locking window for all candidates included in the State Merit List will open on September 9 at 5:30 PM.
Candidates will be able to exercise and lock their preferred choices until 4:00 PM on September 10, 2026. Candidates are advised to carefully arrange their college and course preferences before locking their choices, as the subsequent seat allotment will be based on the applicable counselling rules and submitted preferences.
Provisional Allotment on September 11
OJEE will release the 2nd Round Provisional Seat Allotment on September 11, 2026, at 11:30 AM.
Candidates will have an opportunity to raise queries, if any, related to the provisional allotment until 5:00 PM on September 11.
The 2nd Round final allotment will subsequently be published at 7:30 PM on September 11, 2026. Candidates will also be able to download their allotment letters after publication of the allotment result.
Admission and Reporting from September 13
Candidates allotted seats in the second round will have to complete provisional admission by paying the prescribed admission fees and reporting at the OJEE Cell, Gandamunda, along with their original documents and a signed bond.
The reporting and provisional admission window will remain open from September 13 to September 18, 2026.
OJEE has clarified that the college-wise reporting schedule and necessary instructions will be notified separately in due course. Candidates should therefore keep checking the official OJEE website for further instructions before reporting.
Third Round Schedule to Be Announced Later
The notice also states that the schedule for the 3rd Round of counselling will be published separately in due course.
Candidates have been advised to carefully follow all instructions before participating in the registration process for different counselling rounds.
