Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has released the Schedule and Instructions for Provisional Admission to MBBS/BDS under Round 2 counselling for the academic year 2026-27. As per the notice dated September 13, 2026, candidates who have received a new allotment in Round 2 must personally report at the OJEE Office, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar, along with the required original documents, certificates, mark sheets and Bond/CIC-related documents.
OJEE has also specified college-wise reporting dates and time slots for September 17 and 18, 2026. The official OJEE website lists the Round 2 MBBS/BDS counselling and admission notices for the 85% State Quota.

Candidates allotted new seats in Round 2 must report according to the following schedule:

Candidates Must Follow Freeze or Float Option
Newly allotted candidates must use their login credentials to exercise the Freeze or Float option and complete the required payment process before physically reporting at the OJEE Office as per the schedule.
Candidates who were upgraded in Round 2 and had already reported to their Round 1 allotted institute must also exercise the Freeze/Float option and download the updated allotment letter from their login.
Candidates who have received an upgraded seat in Round 2 should note that the previous Round 1 allotment letter will become invalid once the upgraded allotment letter is downloaded.
Candidates Retaining Round 1 Seats
Candidates who have retained their Round 1 allotment without any upgradation or change in category/quota are not required to report again to the OJEE Office.
Similarly, candidates upgraded from a Private to Government college or Government to Private college, or between private colleges, have been advised to report to the OJEE Office, Gandamunda, after the 3rd Round allotment, along with their old provisional admission letter, updated provisional allotment letter and BOND affidavit as applicable.
Documents Required for Reporting
Candidates reporting for provisional admission must bring their original certificates and mark sheets, along with the documents mentioned in the OJEE guidelines and other required documents.
Candidates should also carry photocopies of the required documents for submission during the admission process.
The notice specifically advises candidates to bring the required Bond, as prescribed under the applicable guidelines or government notification, along with other necessary documents.
Admission Fee for Government Medical and Dental Colleges
For admission to Government Medical/Dental Colleges, candidates are required to deposit Rs.37,950 per annum. The notice further states that additional fees prescribed by the respective government colleges may be collected at the institutional level, subject to applicable rules.
Private Medical & Dental College Fees
The OJEE notice specifies the following annual fees for private institutions:

The notice states that NRI candidates will also be charged the above-mentioned fees for the respective private colleges.
It also clarifies that if the fee structure is revised by the Government, the revised fee will automatically apply.
Payment Through Online Mode or Demand Draft
Candidates must pay the applicable admission fee through the prescribed mode.
The notice allows payment through online payment using the respective login ID or through Demand Draft, wherever applicable.
For Demand Draft payment, candidates are required to bring the DD payable to “OJEE”, drawn at any nationalised bank, along with the required documents. The candidate’s application number must be mentioned on the back of the Demand Draft.
Important Instructions for Round 2 Candidates
OJEE has issued several important instructions for candidates:
- Candidates must report according to the college-wise date and time slot.
- Candidates should carry all original certificates, mark sheets, Bond and other required documents.
- Candidates must exercise the Freeze/Float option through their login.
- Candidates who fail to report as required may have their allotted seat cancelled.
- Candidates who do not follow the reporting and admission requirements may not be allowed to participate in subsequent counselling rounds.
- Candidates should not report to the allotted institute before completing the required OJEE reporting process, wherever applicable.
- Candidates should bring the required admission fee and documents.
- After final counselling, OJEE will send the list of admitted students along with the admission fee to the respective institutes for completion of final admission.
What Happens if a Candidate Does Not Report?
According to the notice, candidates who are allotted a seat but fail to follow the prescribed reporting and admission process may be treated as non-reported candidates, and their allotted seat can be cancelled.
Such candidates may become eligible to participate in Round 3, subject to the applicable counselling rules and conditions.
OJEE also states that candidates whose admission is withdrawn/refunded may have the refund processed after the final admission round, subject to applicable rules.
Candidates Upgraded to a Different College
Candidates who have upgraded their Round 1 allotment to another college must follow the applicable reporting instructions and obtain the updated provisional allotment letter.
For candidates upgraded from a Government to Private college or Private to Government college, or between private colleges, OJEE has specifically instructed them to report at the OJEE Office after the 3rd Round allotment with the required previous and updated admission documents.
