Director General, Medical Education & Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh has announced an extended time schedule for First Round of Online Counselling Registration for UP NEET UG 2026.
The revised schedule applies to admission to state quota MBBS and BDS seats in Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges and Universities in Uttar Pradesh. The notice has been issued in continuation of the counselling timetable released by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi.

Registration Window Extended
Candidates who are eligible for UP NEET UG 2026 state counselling can complete their online registration and upload the required documents during the extended registration window.
The registration facility will open at 5:00 PM on September 1, 2026, and candidates must complete the process by 2:00 PM on September 2, 2026.
Candidates are advised to avoid waiting until the last minute and ensure that their documents are uploaded correctly before submitting the application.
Fee Payment Deadline
The schedule also provides a separate deadline for depositing the registration fee and security money.
Candidates can make the required payment from 5:00 PM on September 1 until 3:00 PM on September 2, 2026.
Candidates should ensure that their payment is successfully completed within the prescribed time to remain eligible for the subsequent counselling process.
UP NEET UG 2026 Merit List on September 2
As per the extended schedule, the UP NEET UG 2026 Round 1 merit list will be declared on September 2, 2026.
Candidates should regularly check the official counselling portals for publication of the merit list and further instructions regarding choice filling, seat allotment and subsequent admission formalities.
NCC Reservation Provision
The notification also refers to the Uttar Pradesh NEET UG 2026 Government Order dated September 1, 2026, concerning reservation for NCC candidates.
As per the arrangement mentioned in the notice, 1% reservation has been provided for eligible NCC candidates having the required NCC certificate, including candidates with the prescribed grading.
Candidates claiming the NCC reservation benefit should carefully review the applicable eligibility and documentation requirements before submitting their claims.
