Atal Medical & Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has announced the revised schedule for the 2nd Round of MBBS/BDS counselling for the academic year 2026-27. The schedule has been issued subsequent to the revised counselling schedule received from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), DGHS, New Delhi, and the consequent revision of the State Counselling schedule.
According to the notice dated 02 September 2026, candidates participating in Himachal Pradesh State Counselling for MBBS/BDS admissions will have to complete the respective counselling activities within the prescribed dates.

Fresh Registration on September 5 and 6
Candidates who are required to submit a fresh application for the counselling process will be able to fill the online counselling application form from September 5 to September 6, 2026.
Candidates should ensure that all required information is entered correctly while submitting the online application and complete the process within the notified period.
2nd Round Merit List and Vacancy Position
The 2nd Round merit list is scheduled to be published on September 7, 2026. On the same date, AMRU will also display the vacancy position for the 2nd Round.
Candidates should carefully check the published merit list and vacancy details before proceeding with the subsequent counselling activities.
Choice Filling and Locking
The notice schedules filling and locking of choices of course/college/quota for the 3rd Round of counselling from September 8 to September 9, 2026.
Candidates participating in the relevant counselling process should carefully select and lock their preferred options within the specified time period.
Provisional and Final Seat Allocation
The 2nd Round provisional seat allocation will be released on September 11, 2026.
After the provisional allocation stage, the 2nd Round final seat allocation is scheduled to be published on September 14, 2026.
Candidates allotted seats should check the official allocation result and follow the instructions issued by the university regarding admission and reporting.
Joining at Allotted College
Candidates who receive a seat allocation in the 2nd Round will have to complete joining at the allotted college and course from September 16 to September 17, 2026.
Candidates should keep the required original documents and certificates ready and follow the reporting instructions issued by the concerned authority.
