Important Instructions for Candidates
Candidates who have already been admitted through the 1st or 2nd round of online counselling and wish to change their course or institute can participate in the 3rd round, subject to the applicable rules.
If a candidate’s seat is re-allotted in the 3rd round, the previously allotted seat will be cancelled. The Board will conduct upgradation of courses and institutes only up to the 3rd round.
Candidates already admitted through the counselling process may also apply for upgradation of their course or institute, depending on the availability of vacant seats and their merit.
Candidates in the State Merit List
Candidates whose names are included in the State Merit List released on September 7, 2026 do not need to submit the online application again.
Candidates Moving from State Quota to AIQ
A candidate admitted through the 2nd Round State Quota counselling who wishes to participate in the 3rd Round AIQ counselling must first surrender the State Quota seat.
Such candidates must submit their resignation to the concerned State Quota admitting institute by October 3, 2026. The notice states that the candidate’s security money will be forfeited in such a case.
