Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has revised the schedule for the 2nd Round of Online Counselling for NEET UG 2026 for admission to MBBS, BDS and B.H.M.S. courses.
The revised schedule has been issued in compliance with the directions of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and the revised NEET UG 2026 Round 2 schedule. The second round will be conducted for State Quota, All India Quota (AIQ) and NRI Quota seats, as applicable.

The revised schedule applies to vacant State Quota seats in MBBS, BDS and B.H.M.S. courses.
Round 2 for 60% AIQ and 15% NRI Seats
JCECEB has also revised the schedule for the 2nd Round of Online Counselling for vacant 60% seats earmarked for qualified students from across the country under the All India Quota (AIQ) and 15% seats earmarked for NRI-supported students in MBBS courses.
The AIQ/NRI counselling applies to the specified medical colleges, including Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College & Hospital, Palamu; Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital, Seraikela-Kharsawan; Sido Kanhu Medical College & Hospital, Dumka; and Birsa Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Khunti.

BDS Round 2 for AIQ and NRI Seats
The Board has also issued the revised schedule for the 2nd Round of Online Counselling for vacant 60% AIQ seats and 15% NRI-supported seats for BDS admission at Vananchal Dental College and Hospital, Garhwa, under Babu Dinesh Singh University, Garhwa.

Existing Round 1 Candidates Can Participate
Candidates who were admitted through the 1st Round of online counselling and wish to change their allotted college/institute can participate in the Round 2 counselling process.
However, candidates should note that if a seat is re-allotted to them in Round 2, their earlier admission will be automatically cancelled and the seat vacated by them will be allotted to another candidate according to merit and choice.
Candidates who are upgraded to a different category or quota may also be considered for upgradation depending on the availability of seats and applicable counselling rules.
Important Point Regarding State Merit List
The Board has clarified that candidates who had applied for inclusion in the State Merit List for the 1st Round but did not fill their choices will not be allowed to fill choices for the 2nd Round.
