Tripura Undergraduate Medical Counselling 2026 Round 1 Provisional Allotment Result has been released by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tripura. The allotment has been prepared based on the merit list published on August 29, 2026, candidates’ choices, merit, eligibility, applicable reservation policy and the rules governing Tripura Undergraduate Medical Counselling 2026.
Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1 must complete the required reporting, nomination and document verification formalities within the prescribed schedule.
Round 1 Reporting Schedule
All allotted candidates are required to report to the Office of the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Bidurkarta Chowmohani, Agartala, for collection of their Nomination Letter.

Candidates Must Complete Physical Verification
After collecting the nomination letter, allotted candidates must report to their respective allotted institutions for physical verification of all original documents and completion of admission formalities.
The verification process is scheduled to be conducted preferably from September 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM to September 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
Candidates should carry all required original documents and supporting certificates as prescribed for admission.
Documents and Eligibility Will Be Verified
The allotment and nomination are entirely provisional and will remain subject to verification of the candidate’s original documents relating to:
- Eligibility and qualification
- Domicile
- Category and sub-category
- Other applicable admission requirements
Candidates must substantiate their eligibility and category claims through valid documents within the prescribed period.
The notification further states that candidates found to have submitted false, fabricated, untrue, incomplete or illegible documents/information may face cancellation of their allotment, nomination or admission at any stage, including after admission.
Instructions for Candidates Allotted Seats Outside Tripura
Candidates allotted seats in institutions outside the State of Tripura, wherever applicable, are advised to report to the DME Office at the earliest within the prescribed schedule for collection of their Nomination Letter.
Such candidates must subsequently complete the required formalities at their allotted institutions, including obtaining the requisite Medical Fitness Certificate from the concerned medical college/institution.
Candidates should also ensure that the Service Bond, wherever applicable, is submitted at the DME office before admission. The relevant information must also be provided to the admitting institution at the time of admission.
Upgradation in Subsequent Rounds
Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1 and are eligible and willing to participate in subsequent rounds for upgradation will be governed by the applicable counselling rules and subsequent instructions issued by the Tripura Medical Counselling Committee (TRMCC).
Candidates should therefore carefully consider the applicable rules before participating in subsequent rounds.
Admission Must Be Completed Within Deadline
The Directorate has made it clear that the last date and time for completion of admission against a Round 1 allotted seat is September 5, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
Candidates are advised not to wait until the last date and should complete reporting, document verification and other admission requirements well in advance.
All disputes relating to the provisional Round 1 allotment result will fall under the jurisdiction of Agartala, Tripura only.
Candidates have also been advised to regularly follow the official TRMCC website for further notifications, instructions and updates related to the counselling process.
