Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Tripura has released the Round 1 Seat Matrix for Tripura Undergraduate Medical Counselling 2026 for the academic session 2026–27. The seat matrix covers MBBS, BDS, BHMS and BAMS courses under State Quota/Domicile seats, along with specified MBBS seats for candidates from outside Tripura domicile.
The published seat matrix provides college-wise and category-wise details of seats available for Round 1 counselling. Candidates can use the matrix to understand the number of seats available under different categories before participating in the counselling process.
MBBS Seat Matrix for Round 1
Round 1 MBBS seat matrix includes seats at Agartala Government Medical College & G.B. Pant Hospital, Agartala, Tripura Medical College & Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital, and Tripura Santiniketan Medical College, Agartala. The document also includes MBBS seats at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, Manipur, as specified in the matrix.
For the Tripura state quota, seats are distributed among categories including:
- UR
- EWS
- ST
- OBC (NCL)
- SC
- WESM, wherever applicable
The seat matrix also specifies MBBS seats for All India candidates other than Tripura State Domicile at Tripura Medical College & Dr. BRAM Teaching Hospital and Tripura Santiniketan Medical College.
MBBS Seats for Non-Tripura Domicile Candidates
As per the published matrix, seats for All India candidates other than Tripura domicile are available at:

BDS Seat Matrix
For BDS admissions, the Round 1 matrix includes seats at:
