Uttar Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 State Merit List has been released, containing the registered candidate data for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses through the state counselling process. The merit list is dated 02 September 2026 and runs across 990 pages.
The list provides candidate-wise details including serial number, NEET roll number, candidate name, father’s name, UP category, UP sub-category, NEET marks and NEET rank. The published data extends up to Serial No. 31,653, indicating that more than 31,000 candidates are included in the Round 1 State Merit List.
Only Verified Candidates Eligible for Choice Filling
The UP counselling authority has specifically clarified in the merit list that it represents the registered candidate data of UP NEET UG 2026 counselling.
Importantly, only candidates who have paid both the Registration Fee and Security Money and whose documents have been successfully verified are eligible for choice filling.
Candidates should therefore check their details in the merit list and ensure that their registration and document verification status meets the eligibility requirement before proceeding with the next stage of counselling.
Merit List Includes NEET Rank, Marks and Category Details
The Round 1 State Merit List has been arranged according to NEET UG 2026 merit and includes candidates from different categories and sub-categories.
The first page of the list begins with a candidate having 710 NEET marks and All India Rank 7, followed by candidates with 690 marks and Rank 107, 686 marks and Rank 157, and other high-ranking candidates.
The list continues across the entire document, covering candidates from various UP categories, including UR, BC, EWS, SC and ST, along with sub-categories such as OP, EX, PH and others appearing in the registered data.
Merit List Extends to NEET Rank Above 11.9 Lakh
The final pages of the document show that the merit list extends to candidates with lower NEET scores as well. The final entry, at Serial No. 31,653, has a NEET score of 177 marks and a NEET rank of 11,94,891.
The preceding entries also include candidates with scores of 178 and 179 marks, showing the broad range of candidates included in the registered State Merit List.
Candidates Should Check Details Before Choice Filling
Candidates are advised to carefully verify their name, NEET roll number, category, sub-category, NEET marks and NEET rank in the Round 1 State Merit List.
Since the authority has stated that successful payment of both the registration fee and security money, along with successful document verification, is required for choice filling, candidates should ensure that their counselling requirements have been completed before the choice-filling stage.
The merit list also carries category abbreviations for certain other-state categories, including OB (Other Backward Class), OS (Scheduled Caste), OT (Scheduled Tribe) and OE (EWS).
